Not all baby shower venues are created equal
Truth is, some spaces are just spaces. Some spaces aren’t well thought out. Some people just wanted an rental space in Baltimore Maryland and did the bare minimum to accommodate the people that would be hosting their milestone events there. Ask me how I know?
I’ve been a wedding and event photographer for over 15 years! This means I’ve photographed hundreds of events and weddings throughout this time mainly in Baltimore, the DMV and the surrounding counties. Trust me, not all spaces keep the best interest of the guest in mind. You can talk about lighting, AC or heat issues, how the restrooms look and feel, the accommodations, amenities and so much more, I’ve seen it all.
Not all event spaces are great as baby shower venues.
So I bring that experience and energy into Studio 87 and so far, the reviews say it all.

Absolutely! We have more than enough tables and chairs for 50 guests. We also set it up for you so when you arrive all you have to worry about is bringing your things inside and start making the space yours.

Yes! We have an iPad that’s attached to the wall that has Apple Music and Spotify (both subscriptions), and you can play anything you’d like from our two sound options. We have a bose sound dock that fills the room with sound and a sound bar as well. Connect from your own device or use ours! Some guests just airdrop their favorite playlist right to the iPad.
We literally have everything you need, if you are in Baltimore Maryland this is the perfect space for you!

We have complimentary on-site parking that can fit up to 30 vehicles. Park and walk right in!
We are a few minutes away from benson ave, from 36th street, about 20 minutes from Charles st, art museum dr, and Ellicott City..

The space is available as early as 7 am and as late as 9 pm. In certain scenarios, we are ok with doing 10 pm at an added cost. This time is when the space must be vacated and not when your event ends.
Not all dining rooms are built the same so if you are looking to party later than this, we may not be the space location for you. Some wedding venues are open as late as 2am.
Consider ratings as well, you want your shower to be great!

Our policy is that beer and wine are fine. Keep in mind that we are a family-oriented space, and we do not host wild-style events. If you are serving hard liquor, we ask that you hire a licensed and insured bartender or mixologist. We have some recommendations from great services we had in the past.

All rentals come with full access to the space, all amenities, two restrooms, a large screen TV for screen sharing, a kitchenette area in the back of the space, complimentary on-site parking, great staff with excellent customer service (check our reviews!) and a clean and bright space to host your events and celebrations!
